Course Structure

The program is divided into preclinical and clinical years, combining theoretical learning, lab training, and hospital-based experience.

  • Years 1-3 (Preclinical Years):

    • Basic medical sciences: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology

    • Laboratory work and introduction to patient care

    • Simulation-based training using modern medical mannequins and virtual learning platforms (PathXL system, e-learning).

  • Years 4-6 (Clinical Years):

    • Clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, and emergency care units

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the Medicine (MD) program, applicants must:


✔ Have completed high school with science subjects (Biology & Chemistry required; Physics/Mathematics recommended)
✔ Meet the English language proficiency requirement (for non-native speakers)

Pass an entry requirements (depending on educational background). You may be exempt from the entry exams

  • Tuition Fees: Approx. €14,000 – €16,100 per year (year dependent)

  • Living Costs in Katowice:

    • Accommodation: €300 – €500 per month

    • Food & daily expenses: €300 – €400 per month
